as of now i have an pioneer avh5900 with an re audio se 15 powered by a JL 500/1. now here is where i need your opinions...should i get a jl 450/4 and a set of pg rsd 65cs? also, could i run active with this combo of 450/4 and my avh5900?

If you properly deaden your doors running them passive should be fine.
