My system Suggestions Please

I was thinking about the following in a 1977 280Z:

13TW5 sub

500 1/2 JL audio amp for sub

alpine PDX4.150

SLC 265 Kicks

MB Quart Pro 6x9s

What do you think I should do?

budget is 1500 for components alone without install and custom set up.

I am having the Z completely restored/modified and the person doing the install can make any boxes or mounting things I need. He will also run all the electrical, so I am wide open on what to do.

I want a good system that does not just take over the car. (size wise not sound)

I already bought the 13TW5 sub to put behind the driver. Since the car is a 2 seater I figure that sub with sufficient amp along with the components should sound good. Custom door pods will be made to fit what components I decide, along with custom box in the back for the 6x9s.

Having put in sound deadener as part of the build already. The car is all the way down to the metal

I am still trying to decide on headunit.

I am still looking at buying all the pieces. The only thing I own at this point is the subwoofer.

The PDX series are clean amps. small but put out some great, clean and tight power.
