My subs pop

check your lowpass filter
x2...I think i read that you had it turned all the way to the low side.Try it right around 30ish.

Also i had 4 12 RE re in a big sealed box and they bottomed out hard at loud volumes.

Just swapped 2 of them into my friends smaller sealed box and they seemed fine at any level and with a bigger amp.

Dont know if that could help but it worked for me.

Good Luck.

hey had this exact problem with an L7 and a kicker kx1200.1

it was the amp...it wasnt getting enough power so it would shut off.....kicker amps are real gay like that. We upgraded the wires on my friends car and it completely fixed the problem. Make sure ur positive lead wire is connected straight to the battery too and not one of those jump start places.

hope i helped you and im sure this is what the problem is man

You can test it like this.......turn ur car on, and leave the air conditioner off.....turn it up, then turn the air conditioner on, in a very short about of time ur subs will start to play then pop on and off. (its annoying as hell and sounds like they are gonna blow up or somthin haha)

Could it be the amp? I have no other one's to try I've got the biggest one out of my friends. Bx1605d

The subsonic filter i turned it to around 30 and it still poped.

tried a sealed box and still poped.

Shoul I buy new subs?
