My speakers ****!!

I installed some pioneer revs and to be quite honest they ****. All i can really hear is bass and they are all mudy not even half way turned up. What is the problem my headunit is a 9833. I cant figure it out.

Not amped I believe the eq is on hiphop but that is the only good one all the rest loose output but basically stay the same. The crossovers are the orignal as well.

Midbass & tweets dont do bass try setting it flat & get a sub to fill in the other FQ's that are missing..

when i set it on flat it takes away from the sub too. Like the bass i not as good on flat and there is less output from the speakers.

Amp them and make sure they are on a solid front plane(whole front side of door panel is sealed off). Your HU can't do them justice, IMO.

Learn to use your head unit... You can not just pick those general settings and expect good results. Set your LPF and HPF on the unit, and go into the eQ and adjust as desired... Manually is the only way to get good results, and I reccomend getting a seperate amp for your interior speakers, makes a huge difference.

Ok ill defintly look into the amp...Setting the lpf and hpf didnt really seem to work but ill go fool with it again.

Well for the install part i did everything it said too i didnt mean that these speakers actually **** they just sounded bad for me. But yeah lack of power is the main thing.

There are many amps for sale that could ease your worries... that's a link to my Diamond audio amp, decent power nice SQ. Buy that and like $50 of this stuff (the damplifier)

and a $20 wiring kit from wally world and your speakers will sound awsome... then you'll get a boner for car audio and likely delve into it head first... eventually spending thousands on audio equipment only to spend the majority of your time listening to talk radio... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif but honestly getting the amp and sound deadner will make all the world of difference. Then when it's time to get nicer speakers you can just drop them in and enjoy...
