I have a pair of Pioneer speakers, they are 220 watt peak(50 watts nominal) and i have JVC KD-G700 HU, the volume goes upto 50 and when i turn it up till 25, with medium bass and high treble, the speakers sounds gets worst, and treble tends to mess up sound, if u know what i am saying, i wanted to know if its problem with my speakers or my deck isnt powerful enough,

Another question, i want to install 6 by 9 in my nissan sentra 92, they have a metal frame, and they wont fit in, any ideas i can cut that frame and fit in 6 by 9's

your deck starts to send a clipped signal, especially with any kind of bass. never run a deck full tilt because you will cause the deck to clip.

try using an external amplifier for your system... dont afford one yet, test it with a buddy's amp and if the problem soothes with it then buy one...

i guess its problem with speakers, it does same thing, may b some wiring problem cuz it seems mid signals are going to tweeters and well tweeters are not made for bass, so they give bad sound,

Properly amplify them and see a world of difference. Also, try turning down the highs and lows on your head unit's equalizer.
