My SI 12" testimonial

now everybody that knows me, knows I've tested ALOT of speakers...

I mean hundreds.. name it.. I've tested / owned / killed it

I honestly couldn't believe how GOOD those 2 subs sound...

Chevy Aveo Hatch, 4.5 cuft, 33hz tune via 3 4" aero's 18" long.. IA 20.1 @ .5 ohm for power..

wow... I mean absolutely beautiful.... box in car plays within 1db from 28-44hz, -3 pt of 22hz, and 55hz on the top end... great response IMO...

of course the first play was with test tones.... cause I can't shake the SPL competitor... but after we established a quick gain / xover setting.. I started off with the Mariah Carey Mimi Cd..

track 1 has a nasty low frequency hook... and the SI's wanged like a champ....

had to grab late nite tip... cause its tradition... wow... nasty low end... car was begging me to let up on it..

dug around on there for a bit, then it was time for SQ..

oh yeah.... no I didn't get to officially meter the vehicle, we just tested FR, went from there... at the time there were no front seats, missing trim panels.. wouldn't have been exactly valid..

Grandma's hands.... wow...... no overhang... perfect... imaged great with the CDT's up front..

Spanish Harlem... same deal... perfect..

about this point I'm starting to get pissed... I've never had a woofer that didn't have at least one downside.....

I didn't find one.....

handled power like champs, wanged hard... sounded great...

miles above the old SI's Nick.... absolutely great job...

I can't find a reason to not buy SI drivers..... for any reason...

They are $450 for a 12, and $500 for a 15 with shipping included. Also includes shipping insurance and SI's warranty.

they get seriously loud and hit the lows really well in a 4th order bandpass tuned to 40hz
