Subs: Duals 2 12inch's (Cheap, but sound alright, got them for free)

2 Channel Amp bridged Mono: Power Acoustik 980Watt Max 560 Mono RMS

4 Channel 600 Watt Jensen Amp: 60 Watts RMS per each channel

Capacitator: Power Acoustiks 3 Farad Cap

Future Plans

Dynamat the Trunk

Get 1 12inch Kicker L5 in ported box

Thanks guys.. what do you think? I'll try to get some pics up soon, maybe tommorow or sunday. Me and my friend installed everything today.

We ran 2 power wires, one 8-gauge to the 4 channel amp, and one 4-gauge to a distribution block where branched 8-gauge wire to the 2 channel amp and the cap. Ran 12-gauge speaker wire to all four speakers and the subs. Grounded the cap, and 2 amps underneathe the back seat. Everything is mounted on the back seats. We ran 3 RCA cables, 2 to the 4 channel, and 1 to the two channel. Had to use Y Splitters up front.

Overall, i think it looks really nice, we hid everything good, as ill show in the pictures hopefully really soon. Sounds really good to.

Why does everyone say ditch the cap? Everybody has been saying that, but why? All the car install places not just like circuit city and best buy, but the car audio little shop places, tell me i need a cap. My lights flicker without it.

So whats so bad about the cap? I dont understand.

A cap is just going to be a bandaid for an ailing electrical system. In the long run, it's just gonna strain your electrical system even more and be very taxing on the alternator.

Those places you went to are trying to sell you a product. If your lights are dimming, you'll want to upgrade the Big 3, battery, and alternator if the first 2 don't remedy the problem.

Well i figured they were trying to sell me the product, but every one i talked to said the same. Without the cap, my lights would flicker at times, and now that the caps in, that problem has disapeared.

I spent around, 600$ for all that. I ordered most stuff, except headunit online. I got the subs for free. I really do think the subs actaully sound pretty decent in the bandpass box. They hit pretty **** hard. I was listening to the L5 by kicker, we tried it in my car cuz my freind who installed the stuff for me has one, and its not that mcuh different, only its just a little bit cleaner.
