My setup - 350z

when i had my 350 i did all jl highs off a punch 500 and 1 10inch jl 10w6 v2 off my 1001db power the system slamed i think 2 subs is over kill in the 350.
well im running the stock deck with Navi so i dont want to take it off. the stock deck must output 2volts at best so its not like LOUD... my other car is indeed a beast but this one is just nice mellow sounds, not overly aggressive or nothing, even with the input sens. all the way up. at least not for my taste since im a bass head.

Lol its funny how people instantly hate on JL. Maybe the OP actually did something with his life and has extra money to throw at a good product rather than scrounging up a budget system like most of the haters. Nice clean install.

more pictures of the install.

Bass knob installed on the seat heater panel. there was an empty button so i hogged it out from behind with the dremel and took the bass knob out of its casing and attached it.

since i had the exposed PCB on the back i decided to pot it fully with hot melt glue.

amp rack with amp on the bottom

amp on the top

Ground wire all done up and ready to go

there happened to be a hole already there perfectly sized so i sanded it down to the bare metal

attached ground wire.

painted amp rack with flat black rattle can style just so its not wood colored.

grommet location under the battery tray. this is a marine-grade grommet btw, used for running wiring on boats.

I like where you put that Bass knob
yeah the location is perfect, when driving your hand is just like. there.
its hard to get a car that just happens to have an empty slot like that right there. none of my past cars have had that and i had to jerry rig the knob in some location where it was really uncomfortable to access it.

it is, indeed a huge pain in the ***. you have to take off all the plastics behind the seats and pretty much strip the whole interior behind the seats bare....

since i was running wire to the engine bay i decided to take off the passenger side seat and that helped a little bit. but the stealthbox has to be secured fully otherwise it wont sound good and of course it could become a huge projectile in case of an accident so there was no shortcuts taken... i had to bolt it down.

thanks. i chose not to take any shortcuts this time around...

planned it way in advance, got all the parts for it and did it right in one shot the first time.
