My second time at making a box pic's 56k maybe not

Hi guy's & girl's i found the time was right to try out my XXX in a ported box in the new car. So i have built a ported box for it just to see how it sounds in the car the sub is a 15 inch so the box is around .5CU'FT .Under sized from what most would run a 15 inch in minamal of 3.5CU'FT

This is my second time making a box so dont be to hard on me lol it's

Made from 18mm mdf Gripfill and some screw's to hold it all in place. The pic's are not the best but i could not find the battrey to my DC so i used a Razer V3 mobile phone. Anyway on with the pic's

To Start with the tool's

Drill bit

Screws

countersunk bit

Next to dry fit the box started with port

Then added predrilled holes

The to place it on the bottom & add the front

Next it was adding the port

Then last but not lest the top

I found i hade a problem with the wood each cut had a littel hill in the center of each cut so i thnk there must be a problem with the Saw are something i dont know.

Ok so no the box is all set up time to take it back down and use my Adhesive

I used a Adhesive called Gripfill

So as you can see the box now being rebuilt but this time with Gripfill Adhesive

After i got the back and side's down i painted along the in side of the box where the port is going to be and same with the Slot Port and the fitted it.

And as you can see i used the Gripfill Adhesive around the port to

Then fitted the top

And thats all i could do as im waiting on for my Jasper 200 Jig and my Router bit's to come. And im going to pick some acoustic carpet up the week end.

just a tip, its easier to paint the port before assembly, but looking good man

Ok i used this stuff becouse it's about the strongist Adhesive you can get in the uk from any shop. And it's cheap its around $2.52 dollars a tube and good wood glue is like $25 dollars

Here we go again ... Wood glue is meant for wood for a reason: chemical bonds are always stronger than physical ones.

dont get me wrong there lot's of cheap *** wood glues about but i know this stuff is realy strong and it's cheap act's as a sealant all so. And is going to be

100X better then the cheaper wood glues.

Im going to be running a 15 inch RE xxx @ 1600wrms of my 2500D so wonted somthing i know is going to hold out

All so as i dont have my jig yet it give's the box time to set good and strong and let any vaper's go way.
