the same reason all drugs should be legalized. because the ones that gain the most from their sale also gain the most from them being prohibited. the big wigs that keep them on the streets also gain from the fact that they're illegal and such that supply coinsides with demand.

Do some searching on internet paper databases there should be a ton of them. They will give you some good ideas and some basis for starting points, arguments and counter arguments. Honestly its one of the most college cliche papers ever written.
