My Project S-Series... long winded and lots of pix

just a fyi if you get seat tracks from a truck with a split bench or a blazer then a set of cavalier buckets will bolt right to them
I kinda wanna go that route but these trucks are hard to find around my way.

Cavaliers are easy to find. But I have an abundance of seats right now. I have the prelude seats and a set of plastic racing seats with covers...

My truck had the bench, it only had bolts on each side, so I guess I'd have to drill holes in the floor? (don't mind doing so)

Now that I look at that, that looks like a crewcab s10 with the rear door welded shut or the cab is stretched, and its on a fullsize frame.

the trucks with the split bench had 2 sets of adjusters so yea if you dont have inners you are gonna have to drill. Im sure you could find some on s10forum (Im on there) or ebay or something for cheap. There are alot of guys parting trucks on s10forum, shipping woundnt be anything for a set of adjusters. I had 98 Z24 buckets in my S15

I'm kinda thinking it wouldn't be too bad to fab up some brackets to get the prelude seats to fit.

But the floor is quite uneven. I'll get my uncle to take a look and see what he thinks I should do. I got the prelude seats for free and there in great condition, but if I buy two seats from an autowrecker here its guaranteed like 150 bucks each. they charge out the ***.

So you guys think I should do the diesel swap or not?
