My Project for the past 2 weeks.

I have been working on my Tahoe that I bought in Febuary. Just trying to get it straightened out to the point where it is looking driveable. Just thought I would post a few progress pics of the work I have done so far. I am headed out to do the final hand blocking and then it will be ready for color. Also did some glass work on the port and face of the enclosure.

Gunmetal with silver pearl in the clear coat, did a test spray and it looks pretty slick.

how much primer did that take?

2 coats of durabuild, hand blocked then another piss coat. I like the durabuild because it is cheap and has shaping properties.

I have 8 guns, I will be using 3 for this job, My basecoat gun with a wide nozzle, and a smaller version of it for the 3 coats of pearl and finally my clearing gun with the a misting nozzle.

I originally started out to just do a repaint, but like most everything it gets more involved as I go along.
