The gold plated versions were the "GS" line. The 250 HCCA equivalent would have been the GS-300 but it is not 1 ohm stable it is essentially a 2150SX with premium hand picked and hand matched parts then it was fine tuned by the Senior Engineers at Orion at the time.

I can't view the photos, and I can't view the link from here at work but the amp should be marked with the GS model on it. The heat sink could have also been gold plated by someone at some point if it does not bear the GS model number on it.

I will look at the photo later when I get home.

 
Its not the same as the HCCAs, its fairly weaker, but....the case itself is worth more than 3-250 HCCAs. lol.

That looks like a plated 1st gen. Not original. Have you seen the insides? Are they gold as well? The 1st gen of any HCCA was pretty much a flaw. They are not nearlt as strong as the 2nd and 3rd generation HCCAs
