I just put a regular sealed box for the 2 12" sub.

i don't know how to install a dynamat. i was wondering if anyone could explain to me about it. is it easy to install a dynamat?

Installing dynamat is actually quite easy! All ya gotta do is clear the area that you want to put it on, get yourself a hairdryer (it is heated to make it stick), and start layin it out...just one tip though, when you put it down, don't peel the whole sheet off and try to lay it, just start with a corner and gradually pull it off as you attach it!

It also comes with instructions that are pretty easy to follow...any other questions I'm sure me or someone else on this forum could help ya out

i am installing the dynamat in the trunk area, do i install the dynamat on top of the carpet or under the carpet?

if i install under the carpet then it will block my tool set the one you use to change the tire. i have 2001 xterra.

do i need to install dynamat on the side too?

thats a nice system, but I would say that 5000 is a freakin lot for that

and I dont think you will be able to get 160 with 2 momos

for 5000 I would have sold you my:

- Kenwood HU

- Phoenix Gold QX 2x50 rds

- Phoenix Gold QX 2x25 rds

- Phoenix Gold Octane

4 ohm Mono - 400 x 1

2 ohm Per Ch. 200 x 2

4 ohm Per Ch. 100 x 2

- Xplod 200w rds rear speakers

- boston rally 2x50 front speakers

- 2 sets of caliber 25w rds tweaters

- Phoenix Gold Ti12d elite sub (underpowered atm but its fairly new to my install)

you paid to much, far to much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif :banghead:

hehehehe its all in teh trunk,,,

im dissapointed that i cant afford to put the 8's into kicks for the mids to supplement the finities...

i would love to end up doing taht, but no dice, so right now, without an amp for the 12, the 8's are ating like my subs, and hit REAL good....

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
