At what point did you gather your intelligence to come up with that conclusion?? How can you sit there and tell someone what they do or don't hear?? If I were you I would refrain from the comments you made above because up until this very moment I actually looked for your responses on some of my topics.

Although I don't agree with what he exactly said, generally it's not a good idea to buy pre-fab bass reflex enclosures such as this one. Ported systems should be tailored to the sub involved, and "generic" boxes often sound less than ideal.

True, I agree, but prefab boxes do have there market place. I love car audio and listen to alot of music while I drive, I just dont have the time or finances to invest in a custom enclosure. This one works very well for me, and Im pleased with the sound.

No offence, but not everyone needs RE, or JLAudio, or Brax amps and custom enclosures. Some store bought items work well for some of us.

My take on store bought stuff.

You are not in to car audio, or you do not love the hobby. Building a box taking the time to learn how. That is what the "hobby" is about. If you just want to throw some stuff in your car quick, good for you. If you like the way it sounds thats great. But the whole fun part about car audio is learning how to do it and completing it yourself. Gives you a sort of satisfaction when done.

the guys at Probox make some nice enclosures & they do thier homework - I have seen and heard a few all were better than you would think

Not everyone can spare the time to sit infront of a PC and design a box with every spec perfectly matched -

cut the guy some slack bubba
