My New Setup

So I already have 2 alpine type r woofers that I have wired to 2 ohms and I am going to be getting a US Amp Merlin MD.3D , now it says that it puts out 1200rms at 2 ohms. Will I be safe putting 600rms to each of my alpine type r woofers? And has anyone had any exprience with the amp before and is there anything that i should know about it.

I would trust them to hold 1200rms but i would watch the gain and make sure it isn't clipping.....

Yes they will take 600 watts each.

Those Alpine's will love about 600, be careful with the gain though.

Go on ebay and get an Audiopipe AP15001D and wire to .5 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif lots cheaper and youll still get all the power you need plus headroom.
