my new ride... bling bling

why would u need 4wheel drive for a truck like that? plus, he's gonna supercharge it
Because of its stance - it looks like it ought to be offroading somewhere.

Ain't happening with no front transfer case and those lo-pro street tires, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That's my point...I wouldn't have made it a "truck like that"...because I bet that's never going to see a trail, or sand, or anything but smoothly paved asphalt.

But that's just personal opinion. It's your dad's truck, he does what he sees fit with it.

he's more about style than the off-roading look, idk... i think it looks alright, but whats the point to buy super swampers and not use them and wear them down on the streets... tires aren't cheap, either is gas

wowo....

ok, the truck is 2wd, which means it has no transfer case at all, nor a front drive axle. in order for it to have a front transfer case, one would assume that it was indeed 4wd and had a doubler, thus allowing it to run not one, but two transfer cases.

second, if set up properly, a truck can indeed wheel with low pro tires and such. one has just to look up any new land rover/range rover. while they are a weakness, with today's technology, it can, and does, indeed happen.

third, why "just lift that shit up and throw 36's under it"? do you know how much work it would be (up front) to make that work and look good? it's not 4wd, it's not a prerunner. instead, take advantage of the wheel/tire package already under it, and drop it a few inches to sit on top of the wheel/tires...improve upon what he's got. especially since he just got the wheels and tires. and liek he said, it'll never see anything other then the pavement...

and besides all of that......it's just a ford.....it's not worth all the effort...

Fords are good trucks.. We have an 01' F-150 supercew,Lariat 4wd, with nearly 80k miles, and have not ever had one single problem with it.
