just do a 347 stroker...torque MONSTER not to mention 302 blocks drop DIRECTLY in place of a 4cyl. no adjustment of motor mounts at all.
well there would be a little adjusting considering you have to put a new crossmember,transmission, stronger motor mounts, and stuff to make the conversion. The v4 compenents are cheaply made and theres a few thigns you have to change to make a v8 conversion.

Why do you keep saying V4? It's I4. To my knowledge NO ONE makes a V4

v4 implies that it is a v-configuration motor when it is actually an inline-4 or I4. V-engines have two cylinder bays aligned in a V shape and they share a common crankshaft. the I4 is like 1/2 a V8 and has one cylinder bay aligned vertically.

big difference, you can't just say v4. the only v4 engines I have heard of were like prototype motorcycle engines

o ok, i dont know crap about 4 cylinder engines as u can see. I only mess with

v8's. Only reason i have this i4 is because its all i could afford at the time.

The other day I was sitin at a light in my 89 montero(4000#, 150hp rolling brick) and an 80s mustang (dong know if it was a 4 or 6 cyl) like the first pic but without all the crap on the body pulls up next to me and starts revvin his engine so I just glance over at him and nod figuring what the hell. When the light turned I punched it and sure enough I beat him by a pretty good amount.

 
naw, im done spending money on that piece of shit...now all the performance is going to the other one... eventually I wanna buy a 302 or 351 man o war block and stroke it to 427... don't know which block I'm gonna use yet though...
Boss 302 block owns both of those, and no need to go all the way to 427, you'll break yourself trying to get heads that will flow to the potential of a 427.

well i'm not getting an frpp block, its either the world block or a dart block, thats something I havent decided either yet...

heres a pic of mine....tip- forget that 4" exhaust and put true duals on it. It will sound better. Its not going to sound awesomeeee being a v4 but it will be better.
