My Luck -_______________- (Spoiler: Its bad)

Well I'm glad you enjoyed the sub while you could. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Most likely just a blown fuse. Check the fuses on the deck and check the fuse panel(s). I've also had cars that had fuses inline on the power wires for the head unit. Should be an easy fix anyway.

i would just check the fuse at the house to save you time and money u had to blow one grounding out the constant wire. this happens from time to time when you do radio installs though i normally dont wire up harnesses at the dash. i rather wire up the harness out of the car and then plug and play in the car. the only wire i have to hook up in the car is the remote wire which i use quick connects for.
+1

What is this Honda ELD you speak of?
I believe it stands for Electronic Load Detector (or detection). Basically it drops voltage when there is no "load" detected from the cars components (a/c, heat, wipers etc). Aftermarket components are not detected by this, so basically you're stuck with shit voltage unless you have your air or something running at all time. Hence the reason people are disabling it. This is what I understand of it anyway, I dont own a Honda.. Wish I did though.

YEESSSSSSSSSS. So I found the fuse, and replaced it and now I'm bumping! And I hate it. Because I realized how much vibrations I still get even with the sub firing into the cabin..

Well Dynomats next I guess

As for the system, ohhh I am very happy! I got the Obsidian 15 D4 in a 3.4cubes at 32 hz wired at 2 ohms to my Audiopipe 1500, so I'm doing roughly 750-800ish watts, and I have NO dim what so ever! I played one of my lowest songs at a really high volume, and I didn't see any visual dim at all. So this makes me happy.

I. want to thank you guys for helping me stray away from buying a **** system. I really didn't expect to get so much help, even though I was annoying at times. I have a system that bumps exactly to my expectations and thats thanks to you guys.

And it was tough for me to, because you guys recommended a sub from a company that I've never heard of before. But I'm really happy that I took the plunge.

So thanks guys. Thanks to Mitch86 for selling me his awesome awesome Obsidian D4, Mr. Mayhem for giving me pointers, and everybody else that endured my n00b questions till the very end.

WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you enjoy the sub!It really is a great sub, especially for the price... Please tell me you set your gain on the amp correctly though? I dont want to see you fry that sub! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
