Hey guys. I need some help. Ive put up with it for quite some time because all i had to do was turn it up and the noise would go away. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But the problem im having is some pretty good road noise. At least i think its road noise. Its a constant NOTE coming from my subs. And the higher i turn up my LPF... the louder the noise gets. If i set the LPF to 35hz.... i get almost nothing. I get no road noise what so ever from my front components... but then again there is no amp on them other than the HU. I would like to remedy this problem, because its really anoyying. Any help would really be good!

Thanks guys!

check the ground on your hu and your amp
me= 2 slow

try and reground your head unit and amps.

Make sure you sand, file away all paint and rust and make sure they are nice and tight.

does the sound vary from engine rpm?

Also what kind of deck do you have? using a loc?

Nope.... no variation from rpm range. And also Its a Pioneer AVH-P6400CD. And im sorry, i dont know what a LOC is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I recently had a particuarly nasty ground loop...tried two of those isolators, didn't do squat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just FWIW.
