my little box building process....

well ive decided to make a nice pretty box for a change instead of the ugly ol spl boxes i always have...this box is for 2 DD 9512's...comes out to about 3.7 cubes after displacement...they want a b igger box in my car so im givin it to em. so me and a friend came up with some ideas...heres some pictures

heres the front of the box on, 2 sides and the bottom, note the side on the right ins't screwed in yet so it looks crooked...

and if your wondering why there are 2 holes in the front of it...well i decided to throw some plexi on this box to show off the motor of the 9512's...this box will be dual chambered just havent gotten the middle piece in yet. got some 1/2" plexi so on the front baffle i used a piece of 1/2" mdf and a piece of 3/4" mdf and cut out squares on each piece so the plexi will fit flush into the 1/2" piece. and the inside of the box will be lined with acrylic mirror...not just big pieces of it...little pieces to give it a mosiac look. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thats gonna be fun to glue em all on. oh and the box won't be sealed either as it looks in the picture...2 4" aeroports on each sub...will be on the front of the box underneath the plexi //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
