It's all good, he's never heard my set-up and doesn't know an accurate score of mine so has no room to talk. Without even doing any tweaking to my EQ I hit a 149.7 with music on the driver seat with a TL a year ago at a meet in Portland. I didn't compete because it was a pre-registered event. The guy who won had 2 Audiobahn 15"s that hit around 147-148 or so with tones. Most people (including me sometimes) fail to mention that we run MECA style, meaning the sensor is in the kick usually with a window/door open.

Works just as good as MDF, at half the cost.

Why not use it?

Mark has yet to have any box crack or fall apart since he started using pboard.

my car was tested meca style with a TL, all scores were taken car off. my sure if i did play with the cvx i could get it louder....my trunk is tiny to begin with and have only so many options.......i think with some playing around and testing i could (hope) to break 49.....either way i beat around all day and for a daily set up im quite happy with it. as for the particle board, i trust what my friends run and mark. he wants to see me winnin, and if mdf was louder he would have used it....... the kicker wire is by far the most flexable 1/0 ever and the maxi fuse block is sexy.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

x2, its an loud setup for bein in trunk, i think hes louder than someone, reason y hes question'n it. i say build an actual box for the cvx and then see if its louder. i kno my 2 12L7s wang the Rs. gonna get it on the meter soon. but im lovin these L7s. cant wait to get all 4 goin, gonna be insaneeeeeeeee

Rs still wang, i have no prob goin back to them, im juss see'n if teh L7s will be louder which i think they will. if the L7s arent louder and do wha i need, then im goin back to the Rs plain and simple. anything else u have to say? thats y u buy and test. i dont think any other sub out there will top these 2 for the money. im not lookin to spend 300bux/woofer juss to break a 50. not worth it. im happy wit my cheap subs and they gettin the job done.

Remember we all used particle board back in the 'ol days doin car audio...looks like it's comin' back like the 80's. BTW, I've figured out the "TCAB secret" loudness from spkrman's sub enclosures....it's so obvious....(not sure if it was revealed or not).
