I did deaden the outside of the horns - the reason for fiberglassing was to create a sort of "mounting bracket" to hold the horns in place against the dash panel.

Why didn't My Koda's work vs the idq's? Better response AP from the IDQ?

In short, the Koda's did not extend to a high enough frequency. The kodas have about -7dB @ 1kHz, whereas the IDQ8 is flat up to about 1.5 KHz and maybe higher. Originally I was going to seal them but Audiolife convinced me to try Aperiodic first.

Removed the glove box so I could do a little expanding foam deadening. The rattles pwn me.

Old handle, out!

Old handle next teo new handle - can you tell much of a difference?

WTF IS THAT!

1.) Light hit the camera weird from the handle

2.) Handle is clean

3.) Handle is freshly painted

4.) Car has faded slightly due to sun

It really isn't that flamboyantly obvious in real life. If it proves to be so, I will get the handle painted.

That's not a processor that's a headunit, looks like a 9835 but I may be wrong. The unit on the bottom looks like a RUX-C701 which is the control module for the PXA-H701.

K started working on the passenger side.

After a couple tries with CA glue i used hot glue to make my skeleton

Here's how it looks in the car.

Then I added in my AP Volcano and will be testing for correct imaging in the next few days.
