Trunk is really large, not sure the most you could fit in there though. I have a 94 LeSabre, same color, got any install pictures? I'm about to install and have no experience with an install in this car.

yes do the big three, no voltage will drop some, look into a better alternator, then battery later on if needed.why 4 12???

in the right encloser you can make those 2 subs flex you car.

maybe if you where to fibre glass that plywood,but plywood sucks even on 500 to 1000 watts,

birch or mdf or any really dense wood or fibre glass will work.

is your amp bridged???

is your trunk deaden???

you need some room for the air from the port to flow.

do you have good comps up front???

those subs with the right amount of power will out drown your front stage.

I know this amp doesnt do these subs justice, however, I want way more than these have to offer. I had this audiobahn amp laying in my trunk quit some time beofore I purchased the subs. The reason the subs are so close to the lid is because the amp is just laying behind the box. When I build the new box for the 4 12's, it will be subs firing up and port into the cabin, amp mounted on back seat.

I can help you with the head unit install, other than that I ran the wires under my car because I didn't want to drill through the firewall.

It should have been a spot on the firewall to run the power wire through somewhere near where the steering wheel goes through it. Took me a while to find it on mine, ( I use to own a 93 Lesabre).

Nice vid, and I would suggest keeping it to just (2) 12s, prob not enough room for 4 ported and you can get plenty of output from a pair in that car. (2) 15s ported might and I mean might even be an option as well.

I would not stress trunk rattling that much, that car is known for it, like its bigger brother the Roadmaster, some deadning on the lid will help, but overall nice start. It will all come together.

Yea man, thanks for the input. When I get paid im going to get some of that good spray on stuff, and prolly even do a couple layers of raam mat.(in my trunk.) I wont be doing competitions so im just going to do my trunk. to stop rattle.

I havnt given any thought on comps yet, however, they will come after rims.

a good, voidless sheet of birch is the ideal material for box building doods

its stiffer and stronger overall than MDF and doesnt kill your blades like mdf can do

such as baltic birch

lol, type r's are "good" low budget sub. I dont want two 300 dollar a piece woofer...

However, when i pick up some MDF I am going to try a sealed and a ported box on my new amp, and see which sounds louder.

I have no Idea what kind of amp I am going to get though. probably something that does around 1200 at 2 ohms.

Maybe the kicker 1000.1
