My first try at Custom Glass box

after you glass it do you break off the ring supports??
if they are peices of wood screwed in how would you go about removing the supports?
generally you leave the inner section of the rings in (not cut out yet) then you mount a 2x4 to the center by screw and screw the other end of the 2x4 to the box. Once you glass just unscrew both ends and cut out the center. fiberglass holds the rings in there.

Hey just wanted to put my opinion on this. I think your design looks awesome, especially for the first time! I have still yet to complete my first fiberglass box, It is still sitting in the garage, for about the past month, need to finish sanding. Kind of put it off because of the crap-a$$ job I did. But all in all a great job, and just like everyone else, I have expecting another update with some pics!! Good luck!!

chopsticks always work well for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

as long as you do a good jorb with them they work fine.

and the center area is a bit steep, id of tried to make the inner brace the same height as the baffles there - but i do like the slanted back\sides. it looks sweet.

im waiting for more pictures for sure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

UPDATE::

I have been traveling for work the last 2 months so that really limited my time for the box. Here is what I did the last couple days. Any thoughts would be great.
