sorry, based on your mannerism and the manner in which you conduct yourself and the way you portray yourself on this message board i would guess your not a well spoken person. You come across as a wanna be thug. If i had to guess you'll probably show up in court wearing a pair of baggy jeans or khakis and a shirt that doesnt fit your properly. do yourself one favor tho, and dont use ebonics when speaking to the judge, that might help your case a bit.

no apology needed, the way i portray myself in this forum does not directly reflect my actual life style. You may perceive me as a 'wanna be thug' I will not dispute your opinion, which you have conceived based purely on what you have read, which again may have been misinterpreted. Again, your guess is wrong, how can you claim I wear baggy jeans and shirts that do not fit properly? For all you know I may not even own clothing that is not proper fitting. First off.always plee not guilty and fight the ticket,if the pig doesnt show up in court the case will be dismissed

PIGS LIE.......Speeding tix are big business and the intimadation factor very often gives the Pigs the win by default

Redneck cops dont always have us on radar...You should have asked to see the radar clocking device with a 72 on it.if he refuses to show you good chance he is FOS and visually got you speeding ...

I got pulled over for 78 in a 55,he wouldent show me the radar

I knew he was FOS because I was easily doing 90+MPH,I went to court as per usual and the cop wasent at traffic court that day,I walked scott free

In the small minded state of TN where I moved to 4 years ago they do everything backwards

from where I used to live in NYC,an here in TN its a fact that if the cop doesnt show for traffic court on the date written on the ticket,its dismissed - In NYC its a totally different system,messed up in its own way too but nonetheless the cops never show up to court for simple infractions as its very time consuming and NY 's has alot more tickets given out than TN does and NY is alot safer a place to live than TN(TN rated 9th most dangerious place to live and NYC is 36th)because the cops in NY fight crime and dont sit like little *****es looking for speeders and have speedtraps at every corner like they do in redneck states such as TN9MS,AL,GA also fall into that catagory)

i expel sarcasm as a form of humor and liveliness, being completely serious all the time if dull, especially on the internet in a public forum that i use as a form of entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I do value the meaning of this forum and adhere to its purposes. However i think a little harmless mischief is what this forum needs.

Right! For starters you make it sound as if the cop dont show up it will be dismissed all together. That is uber BS and dont know why you would even say something like that. Just cause the cop dont show up dont mean the judge is gonna be like, well since he isnt here, then you are free to go and you dont have to pay anything at all. If that was the case, they wouldnt make hardly any money. Cause most of the times over speeding and minor traffic violations they 9 out of 10 times wont show. Trust me I have had over 10 pts on my License and almost lost it once. Not one time did a cop show up to court for me.

I do agree with about the radar thing though. A cop could just pull you over saying you were speeding. Hell I remember one time, I seen a cop in one of the turn arounds on the highway. Well I always set my cruise on the highway when I am not around traffic. So I set it at 70 when the speed limit is 65. Cops usually let you get away with 5 over. So it was set there and figured he wouldnt pull me over. Well he did, came up to my car and said I was doing 83 in a 65, lol! I was like sir I had my cruise set at 70. He was like well that is still speeding, but I am still writing the ticket up for 83. What a stopid phucker he was. I ended up only having to pay court costs cause the judge believed me and said he has had a lot of compliants on the certian officer. I hope he is fired now! generally it only gets dismissed if you agree to go to go to driving school, pay the cost of the ticket + court costs, and stay out of trouble for 30 days. i sure hope the stuff where you assulted that guy cause u cant drive right doesnt come up in that 30 days. will definatly need to speak with whoever is representing the city regarding that. usually they will recomend a lower option to the judge.

i had a ticket one time doing 40 in a 20 school zone(didnt realize it was a school zone cause my son was fussing and i missed the sign saying it was a school zone) got busted, talked with the prosecuter, he droped it down to 30mph for my insurance (generally 10mph and under doesnt effect insurance rates) if i paid the ticket + court cost
