My first sub box

ok i made my first subwoofer box and **** does it hit loud. its ported and tuned to 35 hrtz. i didnt wanna pay someone 10 or 5 bucks just to design it for me. so my go ahead and just do it attitude learned quickly and used the ported accelerator from http://www.accelerator-pedal.com/ported-box.asp#

(very easy to use i might add but is it accurate?? many people on this board said it was )

man does the box look great. i read up on alot of posts people put out there about how to cut the box, cut circles using a jigsaw, mdf 3/4 wood, wood glue, drywall screws, sealing with silicone so i think its a really good box if not excellent for a first timer!

wow i can seriously tell you guys 1 month ago i didnt know jack shi t about car audio. i have learned so much through this forum **** u guys ****in rockk! ;]

1 mdf board - 21.00

1 box 5/8 drywall screws - 3.87

1 liquid nails wood paneling - 3.00

1 silicone chauking - 4.00

1 cheap jig saw - 21.00

(returned it right after circles were made) - -21.00

1 automotive carpet 2 yrds - 9.99

2 terminal cups- 8.00

(was lucky my uncle helped and had a table saw and drill) - 0.00

total - 49.86 not a bad price

where did you get the mdf board from, just asking cuz i am about to make my own box and need to plan for costs and where to get the supplies from.

and quickly get the pics up!!! haha.

by the way, how did the carpeting go, heard carpeting is a *****.

**** i just bought an integra, you sure that thing fits? never thought i could build a ported box for the back, but i guess i never measured. id like to talk to you more about this later.
