I work at a detail shop, so car's usually clean. Although, right now, it has a big dent in it because my friend hit me. Even though my car was PARKED at my house at the time. He still managed to back into me.

I'll get you a picture tomorrow. The components are alright, but def. needed to be amp'd. Specially now with the sub and everything in

Excuse my idiocy, but how do I know if I'm maxing my sub out? Sub-W is set it 8, bass is set to 0.

and the amp is set to

gain = little bit more then half

freq = 30hz

is that okay? i don't want to kill my sub.

low pass filter- the "frequency" on your amp i think..

realm has test tones under "downloads" http://www.realmofexcursion.com/main.html

lpf = low pass filter = lets low frequencies pass so the subs produces them

hpf = high pass filter = lets the high frequencies pass so your speaker can produce them

this is what crossovers do, they control what frequencies a speaker will play

subsonic filter/crossover prevents a sub from playin too low of frequencies

most set their lpf to around 80hz, hpf to 80hz and subsonic filter around 20hz

its mainly what sounds good to you

if youre using a sealed box for your subwoofer, you dont need to use a subsonic filter

i guess either way, you dont HAVE to use one, im using a ported box without a subsonic filter

me 2 i got a jbl bp1200 which i have heard is notoriously a sub blower in a ported box with no ssf its ok
