Hello car audio members.

this is my first post here I hope I find the help I'm looking for.

I'm a beginner in car sound system.

I have the following sound system components:

rear - Infinity Reference 9613i 6"x9" 3-way car speakers (100 RMS)

front - Infinity Kappa 63.7i 6-1/2" 3-way car speakers0 (75 RMS)

amp - JBL CS60.4 4 Ch 240 Watt Full Range Amplifier

I'm trying to reach the best sound quality using my HU and my Car PC.

My HU is Sony , and for the Car PC I have Creative Xmod and Turtle beach roadie.

I want to tune the system for the HU then for the PC then decide the way I'll go.

1-To connect the PC to the HU as AUX.

2-To use the Car PC directly and forget the HU.

I could not tune my system , I don't know it's my fault or one or more component are not good enough.

Any Ideas?

I'd say forget the HU and invest in a 7" Lilliput.

As for Sony HU's, they're better then the rest of their car audio... but if you plan on having a good SQ build, you might want to invest in another Hu.

Popular SQL ones are the Pioneer 800MP IIRC and the Alpine 9887. But both of these units are $300 bucks.

If you want to keep the current equipment, I'd say just use your PC as a processor.

I seems that I'm in trial and error phase , I don't think I'll keep the system as it is

I'm looking for Pure 5.1 sound system.

I'm thinking about components speakers but I want to tune the existing system first to determine where weakness is.

I'll be happy , If you have any recommendation for the rest of the system.

do you use alpine Alpine 9887 with KTX-100EQ? or it can work separately?
