You put them in the right box and two SA8s will hit 150s. They go for like 100ish each. Thats where my brother and I are headed. I like the 12 wall Idea though. Dude has a point is all Im sayin. Tiny Guys blowing your doors down seems more impressive than a wall that everyone's seen before8's arent nice to me.
Dont have a budget
they still makee the old kicker competitions and solobarics (the good ones) as they were the build house. But for the money they arent worth it.I'd have to get on board with the don't bother with cheap subs. For the price of a wall of cheap ones you could get 1 or 2 really nice ones to do everything they'd do and more and sound better doing it. I don't mind a dozen 12's in a wall...but look for something half decent.
Hell my 2 cents, if you're going to do it, do it old school since that's what SPL cars did 20 years ago, get some 20 year old subs and some good old school amps. Credence speakers has some dirt cheap Lanzar and Sabere (sp?) subs from 1990ish. Do that on a couple Orion HCCA's or something?

had beefed up electrical, no deadening, and used as a daily driver setup for over a year...to listen to country, blues, and some rap.
didn't compete, just picked up the TL #'s from a shop i used to work at. if i had been serious as i was when i was an installer i would have projected at least 150's off of some other variables including maybe slightly more power, a high tuned box, and deadening etc. this was just something for me to cruise to while on my commutes and training.
shipping on those is just as much as the sub itself hahaJensen JPW124 - 12" Subwoofers - Sonic Electronixjensen 12s...19$
lol, the hifi is a better deal then, $60 a pair shipped, they work well in a girls car who has about $100 to spend on a pair of 12s and a box lolshipping on those is just as much as the sub itself haha
