man.. my first ever system I had in my first car was a pair of bookshelp house speakers still in the bookshelf box hooked up to my rear factory speakers wich was hooked up to the factory radio!!! so you have me beat by a lot!!!! lol

I've seen a lot worse. You should see some that friends of my friends bring me after someone else screwed up the install. Got pictures of some of them on one of my hard drives I might have to find.

I work in a drivethru at a local seafood restraunt (not fastfood) and you should see some of the stuff tht people roll with...this one guy came through with a Sont boombox sittin gin his backseat...the spekaers spread out, 2 on the back shelf, one in the passenger seat, one in the floor board, with a power invert laying in the back flooboard....

I think everyone started with a prefab box (whether they'll admit it or not)...mine was a sealed prefab with 2 12" JL W3v2's and a 600 watt Lanzar amp, lol. Whole thing cost me like 200 bucks and it sounded ok. Moved up to two Type R's and a kicker 1200.1 with a custom box (a major improvement)...now I'm up to an 18" BTL and a 3kw Crunch amp, lol

One guy that always came through, had a sealed prefab box with two different subs in it, I'm pretty sure one was a lightning audio sub, don't remember the other. Then he had 6x9's in little sealed boxes on his back deck...looked/sounded like ***

My first install included one of these, only the much older version...

The spectrum analyzer made the music seem louder, and the distortion seem quieter. Ah the bad old days.
