1. Why is the sub on the right angled and the other semi-straight?

2.what did you do with that huge profile amp at the bottom of the pic?

My first install included one of these, only the much older version...

The spectrum analyzer made the music seem louder, and the distortion seem quieter. Ah the bad old days.

I remember hooking up a Sentrek EQ in a friend's truck in High School. Talk about a POS. I still have my cousin's Pioneer graphic EQ somewhere around here.

I had some nice SQ DLS subs in a big ported box in my trunk lol. Had it on a hifonics 1606 or 1206d. It was in my old 73' duster and rattled like a *****. I thought it was loud cause it vibrated alot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

1.the sub ripped out cause a friend didnt screw all the screws in, so we had to angle it to "secure" it in the box

2. sold it...twas a decent amp...shoulda kept it

I think everyone started with a prefab box (whether they'll admit it or not)...mine was a sealed prefab with 2 12" JL W3v2's and a 600 watt Lanzar amp, lol. Whole thing cost me like 200 bucks and it sounded ok. Moved up to two Type R's and a kicker 1200.1 with a custom box (a major improvement)...now I'm up to an 18" BTL and a 3kw Crunch amp, lol

not true for me lol. but then again my first install in my own car was my btl 15 and a powerbass xa3000d. i had a shitload of experience before i got to my own car

I remembered i had a 89 accord. I had two audiobahn 15's and that little blue amp you see on top there. I built a plywood box for it, wouldnt fit in my trunk, so i cut 1/3rd off the box so we could shove it in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif wasnt sealed at all...it was baad
