if thats the external dimensions, then that box is nowhere near 4 cubes... its 3.98 before sub and port displacements. after that huge port and the subs displacements id guess its more like 2.5-3 cubes.

well got it installed this morning kept it at low volumes just to check for any gaps/leaks and i did find one i was thinking about running a bead of caulk(sp?) around the inner edges would that be ok to do? no pics yet it was to hot outside and i forgot my phone in the house.

Might have Moe design my next non fiberglass box for me. Might be getting a 12" RE HC for a competition SPL setup.

get 100% silicone caulk expands with the wood seals perfect.

ok thanks ill go pick some up in about an hour, how long does it take to dry 2 or 3 hours or should i let it sit overnight?

silicone caulk? Mine was dry in 45 minutes or so. remember to use your fingers to spread it smooth. you dont want a rope bead on the inside of the box you want to to make a smooth connection between the side and top ot bottom.

i set off alarms when i was sealed it was funny b/c people were staring at me one time b/c i set off the alarm of the car next to me when I parked so they thought i hit it....
