You'll be fine, it looks like you put enough on there that even though you may not have gotten some of it in the crack it should still seal well. If you do encounter a leak, then scrap it off with a razor blade and try again.

And pay him a little bit.

I say im pretty wise but with age comes knowledge. And if u dont want to ask a neighbor or parent. buy a little bit of extra wood and make practise cuts on table saw or wutever so u get the hang of it. same with glue and stuff make a 5" by 5" box first

Well......actually it can be. I dint feel like cutting all of the overlapping parts off, so it look bad, lots of layers overlapping. I just made the front the only "decent" part of the box.
