yep
Well today i made most of my first actual box. Its better than i expected. I was ready for the worst. The cuts are only off by a tid bit. Ill get better at using a circular saw and a guide. Me and my friend did what we have in about 3 and a half hours. All i have to do tommorow is attach the top(baffle) and silicone everything.

Heres the baffle resting on the box with subs mounted in holes.

Opinions/constructive criticism is welcome. Tell me what you think.

Im debating wheteher i sould carpet it or not. Im most likely going to screw up the carpeting. I have no idea how, and those tutorials confuse the hell out of me. Do they have the carpet i would need at Walmart? and how much is it?

More cuts to screw up on though:(My saw skills are yet to be 'lite. Maybe later. I got time. Ill see if it flexes at all.
once you put it together, how you going to take it back apart to put bracing or dividers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

good looking for a first box, sealed is too easy, shoulda did a ported first box:crazy:

is that you in the pic? how old are you?

as expecting my cuts to be about an inch off, but i guess theyre not that bad. I glued all the seams and tommorow im going to glue and screw the top and and silicone all the seams. Should sound awesome......i hope. I countersunk the screws too.......not as big of a pain that everyone said it was.

Don't go this far and not carpet it... It's like leaving the project 90% complete. Put all the seams @ the bottom and you should be just fine.

I had to pay for my first box haha good job man.
I paid quite a bit for the tools though:crap:

I think its worth it. It was fun building it, and itll pay off in the long run.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks for the nice comments.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you can try your luck on home depot's cuts, a few times ive used them they have been right on pretty much, just be careful who you pick and tip the guy before cutting, but some saws they haveare janked up, i go to a fairly new one around here
