lol maybe we shouldn't have rushed our purchase. I have absolutely no personal experience with DEI amps, and I haven't ever seen one in the flesh. Their reputation on this forum is good though. Personally I'll stick with DEI alarms and not amps but to each his own. Didn't Ikesound have a bunch of problems with a batch of their refurb amps?

So overall the amp being 183 shipped i got a good deal and is a great amp for my R !!!! And will push my R alot better than the audiobahn!!

For that price that is a great deal. You should notice a considerable difference between that and the Audiobahn.

o hell yeah on that one. Upgrading from audiobahn to a directed will have a big difference.

Appears the Viper 1200.1 isn't in stock anyways. Looks like the 1500D just came back in stock at ikesound.

Beware though. I had 2 viper 1200.1's refurbs not work (DOA)... Many others are reporting the same thing.
