My enclosure ::PICS!::

So what part is the back?

When first looking at it, I was thinking where the green lines are was the back. It looks as if you can't remove any from there. Looks tight now on space for the inside sub.

Is the back where the unfinished side is? Pics of the inside of the box??

well, the front is there you see the sub, the back is opposite to that side.

Why didn't I think of that? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Then I don't see you trimming the back off. It could have been going to be mounted so the unfinished part was against the seat back or something. You will need to start cutting that area down. And it will help if you know what subs you are going to use. You have that figured out yet??

this is the near finished product. w00t w00t. Now i have decided to only have one sub, preferably a Audiobahn AW152T 15" 1300W Excursion Subwoofer. Don;t worry, i'll make the cut out biggr until i recieve the subwoofer. Wish me luck!

as you can see in the above pictures, the second subwoofer would have been placed on the front left, you know that big blank area of disgustingness. Anyways I might even decide to get 2 Audiobahn Excursions and put one of them in there, lol. But for now, that will be placement for my amp or some kind of emblem, Use your imagination.

and there it is in all it's glory, after taking another look at it, A 15" Audiobahn Excursion will not fit sadly, but none the less, this box BOOMS. I am so happy! Guess, i'll go for those Lanzars or another Audiobahn woofer.

Next up, i'll need to carpet this stuff, anyone know where i can get the regular grey carpeting?

You know what. After lookig at your box and the way you discribed it you just threw something together not knowing what you were doing. That would not have been Isobaric. Just a large, abnormal sealed box with two subs in it.

On that note good sealed box...

wow dude. that box could eaisly be half that size and still play loud. id be very careful with the amout of power you give that woofer. it looks pretty old, and i dont think that its meant to go in what LOOKs to be about 4 cubic feet sealed. id make a bet that the thing is gonna start ripping apart with too much power too it.

that would be a classic example of how to reach a mechanical limit.

so be careful with the giains and volume dude. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

yeah, i never go any higher than it was meant to go. I know the limits of these B-52's and i used a Tone CD to make sure i had it just right and safe.

When i get the Audiobahns, i don't think it would really matter after that lol.

also, the way i designed it, i can still actually cut this thing smaller by removing the excess at the back of the box. I still got some extra MDF so i am basically prepared for the worse. But as of right now, this box booms like my bandpass box never did. And the bandpass was just as big as the box i have right now maybe a bit smaller.
