tell me if i need any more work on it, besides the fact that i am only 50% done. The way it works is that I will have 2 Lanzar MAX12's (1000w RMS Each) or 2 B-52's (1000w RMS Each). For the subs, one of the drivers will be inside the box and the other woofer's driver outside the box (as shown).

If you see any flaws so far in it's design, please let me know.

Oh yeah, this is a perfect custom fit for my Volvo 960 Luxery Sedan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/present.gif.046205b11bb0957af93450bd4cc53e1b.gif . Thats why you see the odd out of the blue cut-out on the upper left of the bottome of the box.

i dunno. i guess it is interesting to say the least. there are a few questions i would ask about the wood, and how its ... connected?

looking at a few spots (under the driver, the right wall, and the wall directly left of the driver) makes me think a little bit. im not sure how you made this, but i guess it looks like it should work.

it's going to be a completely sealed enclosure with no air flow ports what-so-ever. I only got about 2 sides left to finish (minus the custom fit blocks for the gayness of a volvo trunk design).

iono if this would work though, i mean, when one subwoofer is pushing the air (the right speaker) into the box and the other subwoofer (the left) pushs the air outside the box, the inside of the box should be an even flow of air even though it is a sealed enclosure. I tested with what i have done so far (3rd pic) and the sound is crap, lol everything in trunk was vibrating so i'll need some dynamat.

@ my first look b4 reading ur posts, i thought its gonna be vented box, with a large port area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

btw , how much cuft came out from that ??

umm, i think about 2-3 cubic feet, Not too sure. And yeah, these B-52's are old skool competition speakers. Nice tight bass as well. And the best part... ...I got them for free from my cousin bwuahahaha.

it sounds like you have one sub INSIDE the box like regular, and the other mounted on TOP of that sub, in reverse outside the box.

i suppose it should work for SMALL SEALED ENCLOSURES.. but 2'^3 is alot. im not sure about this one.

if i need to make it smaller, because i am near the final phase, it won't be a problem for me to shorten the back of the box. Takes like what? 30 minutes tops? Not much of a waste of time for me. So if i do in fact need to make it smaller, please tell me y/n. Knowing this will be crucial for my project.

thats what it sounds like to me tiggerman //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

can we get a picture of the INSIDE of the box with the subwoofers installed?

Ahh ok.

If it is an isobaric inclosure we can not confirm anything by looking at a pic. Except on how purdy it is...

Definatly sounds Iso to me.

When an Iso was used, it was to be able to use a smaller box than needed for 1 of the same subs, but cost you 2 subs. If your sub needed 2cuft, Iso would allow it in 1cuft, as an example. You have to wire it with the sub outside, out of phase with the sub inside but on the same channel or in mono.

I'm gonna sit back andwatch this one develope. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/popcorn.gif.32dd9e22fd77e77bc3c907062768fcd2.gif

hmm, so i guess i have to make this enclosure a bit smaller eh? No problem. And i guess you guys are correct about bteh enclosure being WAY too big for an isobaric. I'll trim off about 4-5 inches from the back. But i'll test out how it performs with it's current size.
