as an installer at a high end shop. alot of times we get customers with high end cars and spend 5-6k on equipment, but when they get hit with an estimate for labor in the nighborhood of 2k for a decent job, they begin to back out on the deal or bargain. sucks because if i owned such a car and bought so much in equipment i would want a top notch install. bottom line is most nice shops do not pay hourly like us and most customers do not want to pay the "extras" when they really should
