My daily driver 150db+ on music

Nice, i used the same sound deadener, very good stuff for the price.
I have to disagree here.. I've used 3 kinds of deadener at this point, and the Audiotechnix was very flimsy. I won't be using it any more. I got a 35 sq foot pack of the 100mil Knu deadener for around $100 on black friday, so that's what I'll be using for a while.

Like I said, this is the first deadner I have ever used so I don't have anything to compare it to. It was 80mil and I get it for $3.50 per SQ ft. It did the job for me. My roof rattled sooooo bad before, and now it does nothing at all.

Just one port? Im going to have 2 seperate chambers idk to face them to the side pointing to the rear doors or have the port in front of the box on the bottom pointing to driver and passanger

Thanks and idk. It was at the turkey drag. That was my first time ever on a meter. I didn't even have any burp tones with me, that's why I played music. I have videos posted

I have had it both ways. Always with the subs facing forward towards the back of the seats. The box for my 3 JL W7s had the port at the bottom firing towards the bottom of the front seats. The box I have now has the port firing against the side of the truck and the subs still facing forwards

The W7s seemed to play lower, but that had nothing to do with which way the port fired. Both sound good to me. I didn't have excessive port noise with either. The DD box is a 1 chamber square box with a slot port so it was easier to build. The W7 box I built had 3 seperate chambers, a slanted front and L shaped ports. But to answer your question, both sounded great to the ear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Might have to go with ports firing off to the side thanks for the input!
