My dad recently bought a Porsche Carrera and he's wanting to throw a system in it. He's on a budget, so I told him I'd ask some people about the things he's getting and see what they have to say. I don't have much experience with being limited to a budget with stereo... so maybe you could help him out.

Diamond Audio M341I 4-1/2" 2-Way 140W - $90

Alpine MRP-F450 4-Channel Power Amplifier - $230

Budget for stereo (other mods get his money) and the Carrera wasn't as expensive as you may be thinking.

He paid $36,000... it's a 2001 I think? Not sure..

His budget is around $600-$700 for speakers+amps

umm i would talk him into getting a flush mounted screen in the dash with the alpine system like NG did in the lambo he did, i kniow hes on a budget but he would probably be a bit more impressed with that, just my 2 cents

It's not his daily driver... he has a nice Yukon too. He doesn't need movies or navigation... so no need for a screen.
