My custom 10" Is yours beefier?

Rusty, both the Lvl 4 and Lvl5 10's look mean. As piss.

I wish I could afford to buy some to play //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Also, how much bigger is that motor on the Lvl 5 vs 4, or is it mainly a soft parts difference?

Also, Special box for the LVL5 10? Magnet = bigger than cone... right?

how can people say you can't use a 8" spider with a 4" coil. The RF TRF was always a loud woofer, rarley ever had spider problems. The problem with the Destroyer was that RE took a spider designed to have a 3" coil, and took out the inner 3 ribs, eliminating alot of the excursion capabilities. When you are running the sub full out, the coil is ripping the triple joint apart because it can't excurt. The Atomic APXX with the 4" coil has the same problem. If you use a 8" that was designed to have a 4" coil, there are no problems.

on another note, 10" spiders are still much better, however, it is impossible on a 10" sub, i have never seen a 12" basket have a 10" spider landing either.

there are a 10" baskets around that have 10" spiders... but they arent 12 spoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

and i thought the TRF baskets had 9" spiders //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

i would love to see the 10" basket that holds a 10" spider. The TRF has a 8" spider, not a 9". I believe they actually measure 8 1/16" depending on how they were trimmed.

Nice 10" subs guys, mine looks a little weak now!

the la 12in basket uses 10in spiders. the la 10in uses 8in.

i think the trf subs could have been much better if a 10in spider was used. man the way they set up those spiders on those subs was very odd as well. the way they were spaced and how it was sunk in
