still has teh same line of glue around the dustcap audioholic is talking about, you may like the way it looks but i do not, that why i make it a point to avoid that glue line around the dustcap on every AQ/DD i recone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

also, i am not in any way, shape, or form saying AQ products are bad, nor am i saying the way they assemble their products are bad (im sure the glue joint is very strong actually)

its just not visually appealing

i didnt take a pic, it was a customer's sub but if he comes back around (more than likely) ill snap one for you

So what do you do then glue underneath the dust cap? On mine the line of glue is barely noticable.

yeah, glue from underneath the dustcap

the glue joint from AQ isnt real noticeable untill you get close up on the cone (i think the CF lay on the cone helps the Glue blend in

but i like the look of the way i do it more, just seems cleaner to me
