my budget amp choices....

I found some amps locally but dont know what really to choose, and was thinking do these amps really do or around the rated power they say?

Performance Teknique ICBM-DIGITAL - 900watts @ 1ohm

Xfile XR8002 - ~800watts @ 4ohms bridged

honestly i dislike both of the brand's you just listed! i would rather own an american legacy amp! if on that tight of a budget get a lanzar! they will do ok power for the money that you are looking to spend! but honestly if you got one of the amp's you just listed you would lose output going from the rf 400s amp you have......those amp's are a waste of money

hahaha...i dont know, never used it. i got it with some subs as a trade & sold it for profit a couple weeks later. jsut never changed my avatar.

thanks man, i wanted those kind of suggestions. there was a lanzar vibe 1200d for sale locally but i think it got sold already.

look on ebay for that Lanzar 1200d those are very nice amps,do rated power very solid. worht the money and some.

EGAY is the way to go on that budget.. HIGHLY recommend those refurb planet audio amps.. pretty nice for the $$$

You can get a brand new profile amp (AP1000M) for that much. I wouldnt pay more than $50 for a 100w amp if that's all you want.

Did you mean 1000 watts RMS on the sub? I can't find anything on it. If it is 100 watts...why are you looking at 800 and 900 watt amps? Why not get a high quality 100-150 watt amp instead?
