My Boys Magnum, Need Suggestions.

Alright Guys... So I am planning a system for my boys 07 Magnum.

I would like to first say:

SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME, BUT I DONT WANT ANY USED EQUIPMENT.

Now that I got that out of the way. Here is my preliminary audio list...

Obsidian Audio 15 D2, Custom Box of Course $300 w/box

Pioneer 3400BH Double Din $320

JBL P963 6x9s for the front, will keep rear stock $112

And I am really not sure on amps yet, but so far I have a set of Cadence Xenith

-1200 @ 1 ohm mono block $200

-110 @ 4 ohm x 2 for front 6x9s $100

Then of course he will need the harnesses, the deck kit, and wire.

sounds like a pretty good set up to me...id prob just add a set of tweets in the pillars..nothing extrav,.prob like some 50-100rms infinitys,or kicker ks 25 sound good,thats just me.but..i like it..should sound pretty good:naughty:

Yea, we still debating on components. Dont think we are gonna get that extravagant with it.

Do diamond d3s, pioneer tsd series, they'll sound great, jbl has iffy mid bass

Ok, Ill look into those. Thanks. And the JBLs just need a lot of power. A lof of people say its muddy, but they are only throwing like 70 watts at them. I have heard of people putting upwards of 300 on their components.

Yea, thanks. I may give those Pioneers a shot, I havent found those D3s.

I'd go with comps in the front instead. Other than that it seems like a nice budget system.

Not that cheap at all. Considering the AQ 1200 is $270... But I would run Cadence over AQ anyday. Honestly I have not used the Xenith series tho. Just an idea.

For a couple bucks more you could get 2 sets of massive audio vks and run a set in the back

They are separate and you can't place the tweeter on the mid. But they are good budget comps
