Question about 3 way speaker set up with JL AUDIO HD600/4

Currently I have a JL AUDIO HD600/4 pushing the front 3 way morel set. It's the MT-22, CMD-54, and 5" Hybrid oviation woofers.

As of now, I have the amp running 4 channel; two chanels pushing the midrange and tweeters, and the other two channels pushing the woofers. I asked the guy to hook them up using two channels; using each channel to push each of the 3 speakers. It didn't bother me he hooked it up this way. I'm not sure if he knew the power handling ratings on the speakers.

I just bought an Audison Bit.1. And I'm prob going to buy another JL AUDIO HD600/4 for rear Morel speakers that I'm bidding on.

Is it better to run the 3 ways off two channels or four channels. The tweeters and midrange speakers are getting less power than woofers when running 4 channels.

The tweeters and midrange don't need as much power as the woofers to keep up.

What kind of crossovers are u running? active or passive? I'm thinking passive if the mids and tweets are on the same channels....but which is it?

This is Kevin with Cj Sounds out of Houston, I am a Morel dealer and to be honest with you the amp you have now is fine. However there are many other amplifiers are the market for your second set that might cost you less and sound alot better. On your current system I need to know if they used the passive X over. Lastly, for the rear speakers I would recommend a good set of Cox. since you want your front staging to be more dominate.

Excuse me if the model number is off, but im running the mx 33.3. Its the 3 way passive crossover from morel. As of now, im running a class d alpine full rage 150x2 amp on the rear 2 way morel set, also using a passive 2 way crossover from morel. I can barley hear the rear. Im hoping to get better sound after installing the audison bit.1. Dont get me wrong, it sounds good. I would love to get similar imaging to an older 05 bmw 745li with the 7 Qlogic system. I like the way the surround sounded.

I thought about adding another set of speakers somewhere in the truck. Then id take out the alpine and run 2 of the jl audio hd600/4. I have plenty off bass. 2 image dynamic 10 and a jl audio 1000/1.

I want to try to get really good sound. Any advice is wanted. Especially from a Morel dealer. So, as for the front tweeters and mids, they are on the same channel, but each has its correct frequencies from the morel 3 way passive crossover.

This is my first time buying a sound processor, so ill be learning about them too. Any info about the audison would be good too.
