I wanted to get into competing this year and being as im a poor college kid i decided to choose the cheapest route. Bassrace. So for the past 2 weeks i've been building and listening. now for the pics

Now I had a daily box already made and did a 137.7 @ 42hz. It plays thug motivation at 137.5.

My first bassrace scores from H&K audio were 129.9, 129.9, 130.0, 130.0. With a little better volume control i could have nailed 129.9 all 4 times. Saturday is another day and another bassrace there. It's only $5, so anyone around the Kendallville area its $5 saturdays @ 5pm.

This is what i started with (2nd box)

cool stuff man.

It's @ a shop called H&K Audio in Kendallville, bought the aero there too $10 a pop. Great buncha guys that work there. It's not a "sanctioned bassrace event (for points)" but its still a bassrace. I'll definitely be up there alot. They build some loud cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

I sold the Q towards teh end of last fall. I bought this sub for $100 and I'm just tryin to see how loud i can get it.

Haha just about man. minus the fact he'll waste a 1/4 tank of gas just idling in the lanes.

He's not as loud as me either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you drive a trunk car, face the subwoofer forward with external ports to the side. Since it's measured at the dash, have the sub passenger side and ports driver side. I made my box with a long depth. Works like magic in trunk vechicles.
