Do you really want the whole story? That's a waste of time.

Not that it's any of your business, but Matt and I have known eachother for a long time. We have built numerous cars together and are close friends. Friends talk to eachother on the phone. Friends might have conversations about issues at work. When these issues arise we discuss the problems. Your problem was the subject of one of those conversations. Matt wanted to know what was causing the alternators to fail repeatedly on your vehicle and we discussed the different causes of failure and what we thought would be the potential failures in your vehicle that would cause multiple alternators to die.

Anything beyond that is private and confidential.

Matt called me and the conversation went to car audio and I mentioned this thread. He and I talked about your problem with the goal of a possible resolution.

Why bring it up is half of the convo is confidential? It only piques curiousity from the OP. Especially when his alts are failing.

Matt isnt perfect, like any company. But his customer service and support is par to none.

The part of the conversation that was in regards to the alternator failing repeatedly was posted here for all to see. I won't post the "hole" conversation as the vast majority of it had nothing to do with this problem. I was asked to post the conversation so I posted the parts that were related to this discussion.

Was it a battery problem? Yes. Was that what was discussed? Yes. Is anything else in our conversation related to this thread? No.

I would like to know why you are so paranoid that someone would go out of their way to try to help you resolve this problem. I didn't have to talk to Matt about this, but I did in an attempt to resolve your problem so that you wouldn't keep burning alternators, damage Mechman's reputation would be protected and so that you could enjoy your system in your vehicle.

If you don't want the help of others don't post it for all to see. Otherwise just sit back, relax and let the people on this forum help you solve your problems. There is no reason for anyone to come at me like I am doing harm to anyone, I was talking to a friend about an issue involving his product in an attempt find a resolution.

When I have problems I ask for help. If someone happens to have an inside track to the manufacturer of a product that is giving me trouble I would be happy that person was helping me find a solution. I'm not here to sell you another product, to talk shit about you to the MFG or give you a hassle, I was trying to help. And I will continue to do so in the future when someone has a problem and I can be of assistance.

So basically what I am saying is that I told you what was discussed regarding your problems and the rest of it was private conversation between 2 friends about business, life, money, racing and relationships, not anything to do with your problem and I don't think it would be appropriate to post that on this forum without the permission of the other party.

How am i doing that? Im asking for some insight to my problem. Ok so when i get my new batts back and test them to be good and we clamp all the wires and the alt still burns up like my dad said it will again.

Then what? Its his alts. But for right now no one knows whos falt it is. i found 1 problem could be it or could not be. We will see within a week.

My parents friend that owns his own electric shop said that my batt bank is not big enfo to make my "250 amp alt" to burn up. But who knows? He could be wrong. I could still be doing somthing wrong, or just bad alts.
