My 3rd mechman alt is dead!

You are getting sum serious terrible luck bro, you and maybe one other person are the only ones i've heard of with issues. My guess would be that it has something to do with your car that's causing it, can't see why 3 alts would sh*t out on you like that. Nothing else IMO can explain it, i mean if u killed 1 of them I could see it being an alt issue.

yeah matt from mechman told me the same thing. i cant find anything wrong

Chris I already told you, it has to do something with your car.

Guys, its not just his mechman alt that went bad, his stock alt went bad as well. I'm not trying to defend mechman here, but if the stock alt didn't go bad, then I'd think it was the alt.

Money well spent imo and not too expensive either, ive been nothing but impressed with mine and can't wait to get the extra money to swap out the 2nd alt with a mechman.

could luck with that FAD running number that mechman can run. mine is amazing, havent had one problem and the best alt company i have ever dealt with. i will never run another alt besides them. hands down the best ive used

the prob is a parasitical power leech, something in your car's electrical is drawing current from your batts, with the car off or on, so when you start it up and your batts are uber low, and then you bump your system promptly while driving, your system is being basically powered by just the alt, and not much battery reserve support, so your alt ends up going bad with enough stress on it.
