yeah i know i found out that both my new kinetiks are bad. im geting new ones for free. thank god. i just hope that all it was

Anything over 15.1 damages the batteries i use. Every brand has its own breaking poing on how high the voltage can be before you can start to hear them hiss and if you hear them hiss that means you are cooking them.

personally i just would go over 15.0 on a 12 volt battery that seems to be a safe point for almost all batteries i hear..

iv never heard them hiss but they are rated to what i think i read 15.5

dose anyone know? But i know people that run them @ 15.3 no probelm

but for now on there going to be @ even 15.0v

the pic in this thread of the "pregnant" kinetik is what mine looked like. I figured this out not before tearing my complete system apart and replacing the Eclipse head unit for an Alpine W505 (needed the excuse anyhow)... But it makes me wonder wtf is up with their batts...
